Josh Partners Newsletter

December 2008  Dear Friends,  Let me start this newsletter by thanking God for the privilege He has given me through Josh Missions to be a carrier of the good news to many nations and to see churches strengthened and encouraged, to see local churches cast the net out to reach more lost souls. I would also like to thank God for the success of Kunbi’s operation we have been putting that on and off for a while.  She finally had it done this July and she has recovered extremely well. To God be the glory thank you for all your prayers support.  A big thank to you for your support to us in everyway. We really appreciate your prayers, encouragement and financial support. We know we could not have achieved all we have this year without you. God has been amazing to us.

Highlights from 2008 Nigeria, January/February 2008 My first stop was to minister in a prayer conference at Church of God Mission in Agbor, Delta State. Their Pastor is a good friend of mine, Donatus Greghor.  Mark Omonze, a man of God with an apostolic call, ministered alongside me.  After the prayer conference we travelled to the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun state to continue to sow seeds of revival as we did last year.  This year’s conference focused on Intimacy with God. The meetings were based in the local town hall and we worked with two other ministries, Nehemiah’s Company and Treasures in Clay.  Treasures in Clay is overseen by my good friend, Lekan Fashina who flew in from London to minister alongside Mark and I at the conference. On the final night, we had the privilege of having Wale Adenuga host a worship seminar in the afternoon and a time of intimate worship in the evening.  The testimonies of that event have been amazing. We saw God heal people during the healing night  and we also had a session where people who had been contemplating or had attempted suicide were completely set free. We continue to pray for God’s amazing grace in Ago.   My final meeting was on Sunday the 10th of February where I spoke at Kings Word International Church Ikeja, pastored by Nuel Manufor.  We had such a wonderful time.  I consider Kings Word to be my home church in Nigeria.

Book Published, March 2008 One of the other major milestones of this year was the publishing of my 3rd book the Highway of Holiness. The book was released on Amazon UK and US and some other online bookshops. God has been faithful and books sales are growing. If you don’t have copy why not get one or get one for a friend. If you have read it, I would appreciate online review at Amazon. Thank you.  I am currently working on another book.  Please pray for grace.    California, April 2008 California is becoming an annual pilgrimage that God is blessing immensely. I thank God for my friend Jacob and his family in Santa Babara for being my hosts. There, I ministered to a group of leaders from the Goleta Vineyard Church, then went on to minister at Santa Ynez Valley vineyard church (house church). It was an amazing gathering of leaders and pastors from different churches and was hosted by my good friends the Blacker family. Then on the Sunday morning I ministered at Nueva Vida Church pastored by Jaime and Maricela Ramirez. I went on to minister in Sacramento at Taiwo Jaiyeoba’s church,  I spoke on “Heart teach me what to say” then I also spoke at Rejoyce Fellowship in Oakland with Kenny Ogunfunmi. We had an amazing weekend together. God really visited us not just during the program but also in the after-meetings God enabled me to bring insight as I spent time with Kenny and Kemi.

Mexico October 2008 Mexico is like a second home to me. I love ministering there and this time was no exception. We saw God do amazing things in Mexico. It was a privilege to minister in Toulca and DF with Pastor Montesinos (Toulca) and Pastor Lomeli (El Beun Pastor, DF). God always graces the work in Mexico. I also thank God for great translators.

Malawi, November 2008 To continue to building our relationship in Malawi we supported Lekan’s trip to Malawi in November. This year Lekan was the main speaker at the conference. We continue to build with Bishop Wyson.  Please continue to pray for him as his ministry extends into Mozambique. God has joined several churches to him this year so his network of churches is growing.

UK, August – December 2008 The main thing that we as a family did this year was to follow the leading of the Lord to change churches.  After attending Runnymede Christian fellowship for 8 years, we have now completed our moved to a new church called Kerith Community church in Bracknell pastored by Simon Benham. God has continued to open doors for me to minister in the UK. We thank God for this and believe that God wants us to invest more and more into this nation. Our desire is to be obedient to the leading of the Lord.

Outreach 2009 As I look to the New Year, I sense an even louder call to go to the nations. In January I will be back in California.  Speaking at these churches: Goleta Vineyard Christian fellowship - Santa Barbara Santa Ynez Valley Vineyard Church Nueva Vida Foursquare Church - Santa Barbara    In February I will be going back to Mexico Toluca to minister at a conference that will be focused on my second book “Understanding the Lord’s Prayer”.  The book has now been translated into Spanish and is being used by the church in their study groups. In April, I am trusting God to go with a team from Kerith Community Church to Zambia.  We hope to have a family holiday in France in May.  Please pray that things align aright for that to happen. As the year unfolds I believe that God will give us clarity on what we should commit to. We are also looking for more financial partners to support the work we do. We currently have a few sponsors who support with one off annual gifts and others who support us on a monthly basis. This has been an incredible help to us. We are always trusting God for more people to support us so we can continue to answer the call. As always we covet your prayers.   Please pray for:
  • Kunbi:
    • for growth and influence in her business.
    • for her ministry, she has stepped into prophetic destiny as she helps at our local church (Kerith Community Church) with children and worship.

  • the Children
    • that they continue to grow in grace, the knowledge and love of God, and academically

  • Sola
    • for continued grace at work, on the mission field and in the local church
We pray that this holiday season would bring you and your family great joy and a sense of purpose and destiny. The Lord bless you.  The Osinoiki’sJOSH Missions
